大火、地下城、書店老闆

       每座城市都有段關於「大火」的過往。西元64年，尼錄燒掉羅馬城，燒掉人心；1666年9月2日，倫敦的派皮斯（ Samuel Pepys ）在日記中記載 “Jane comes and tells me that she hears that above 300 houses have been burned down to-night by the fire we saw, and that it is now burning down all Fish-street, by London Bridge.” 而一場百年前的西雅圖大火，正是這故事的起點。
